Comment: Marcia Pearson writes what she knows in this personal little book, "Home Office Anywhere". Marcia owned and sold a successful company and then wanted to create a new business. Determined to run her business without interrupting her passion for nearly constant international travel, Marcia worked out many techniques for operating her home office from anywhere and shares her practical experience complete with detailed instructions so we too can be free. I highly recommend this gem of a book. Whether your home office supports your small business or you are a road warrior for a large corporation, trying to take a long vacation or run your business from the road this little book provides a roadmap to handle all the basics, from handling the mail to managing communications devices and costs. Step one, stop handling the mail. If you travel frequently on business you quickly find that being away for two weeks is too long when bills and invoices and checks are piling up in the mailbox. Home Office Anywhere provides detailed instructions for receiving those bills and invoices on your PC and having checks automatically deposited into your account. There are some secret tricks here, usually only used by large companies, which free you up from physically handling the mail and provide all your accounting receipts directly to your PC. Step two is managing all the communications options - from call forwarding to international calls Marcia saves every last penny, using local cell phone services and a single phone for all her travels.
