This guide is written for field consultants, users and administrators of the HP OpenView Network Node Manager (NNM) software product. This edition covers information that is relevant for NNM product versions 6.0 through 7.5. It was written for those who seek a shortcut to commonly used product info that is either missing or obfuscated in the product docs, and it covers practical implementation information that cannot be found in any product manuals or the product man/ref pages. This guide was gleaned from OpenView users, from the user community and from the authors thirteen years of compiled notes on the product. Note: this is the first edition of the book, which covers Version 7.5. Version 7.53 is included in the second edition - now available on Amazon.com.

Comment: I was thrust into a situation where I had to troubleshoot a 2000+ node NNM installation without any real experience. This book skipped the nonsense and jumped right to the meat of NNM. It helped me to solve all the problems and then enhance the installation quickly and efficiently. Now I need one like this for OVO.
