Comment: This book is in tutorial style, so you learn by doing, which is great! I purchased this book for my administrative assistant course in school and it is easy to follow, easy to understand, and really helps you learn Microsoft Office Access. Even if you have used Access before you will still learn a lot of things you didn't know before.

Comment: New Perspectives on MS Office Access 2003 is excellent. Access is a complex program and this book presents each section in a logical, well-explained way. I am most impressed with the exercises. They provide in depth, step-by-step lessons with plenty of screen shots. There is no "hunt and peck" searching for the buttons and no question about what to click next. The reviews and the case projects at the end of each chapter provide additional practice. All the practical, hands on work is a great advantage and so far it is all error-free.
I highly recommend this book!
