But if your time is valuable, then this book is worth a read. If you need to obtain an understanding of .NET very quickly for a job interview, then this is your book. If you want a comprehensive bible, then no - you are better off looking elsewhere. But this does not compare to "freely avaialble resources" - not even close. It does not contain enough material. If you search the internet you will find a lot more questions for free. I have purchased the entire series including the JAVA ones. It is just not worth it.
