Customer Rating: Summary: Note taker Comment: Great for the student who has fine motor skills problems, or organizational difficulties. Thank you. As always, Amazon comes through..
Customer Rating: Summary: HARD DRIVE SHORT Comment: I thought I was getting a 120gb harddrive but I only show 111.79gb. 102gb on drive "c" and 9gb on drive "d"
Customer Rating: Summary: It looks great!!! Comment: Over all, it looks great. The problem is, I am not familiar with Linux and I am totally lost. It is working good, but I have not used it at all for documents bec. I am worried that it might not be compatible with my vista (laptop). I am just using it to surf the internet.
My 13 year old nephew, told me, after I bought it, that it is not a very good operating system...It is good, but how I wish I just bought one with windows (which I am more familiar).
Customer Rating: Summary: Good little laptop Comment: I am pleased with this product for what I wanted - a real computer with a real keyboard (from a real manufacturer) that I can easily carry around. I've carried a lot of laptops to a lot of places and they're *heavy*.
I have two regrets:
1. The battery and the transformer are both fairly weighty. I long for technological advance in this area.
2. The screen folds back only about 135°, not nearly flat. This makes the screen hard to see on many surfaces, e.g., a low table. HP please note!
Customer Rating: Summary: Great machine for the price... Comment: I bought this netbook on sale on Amazon when it was going for $399 in late October. It's good for what I need it for: web and office apps on the go. This is not meant to be a full-time work horse. Vista runs a bit slow if you've got numerous programs/windows going, so it's not going to suit someone who wants to watch a movie on an external monitor, while working on some other projects at the same time.
It does do what I need perfectly. Small machine to attach to a projector and shoot off a presentation to clients. It looks great - nice aluminum shell, full keyboard, etc. It doesn't look like a toy, which I can't say the same for other netbooks out there in this price range.
